The dairy industry has always required large quantities of chilled water for various uses. These needs are often concentrated to a short time period, so the machines must be able to supply the required volumes practically instantaneously. Our technology allows our customers to produce chilled water without the use of chilled water storage tanks, which are underperforming, bulky, and do not conform to the increasingly restrictive regulations.

Madefrigor is able to install low-charge ammonia liquid chillers that are specially designed to produce chilled water. This type of chiller is designed to directly cool pure water to temperatures between +0.5 and +1 °C. These chillers completely replace the classic “ice bank” technique, which uses a certain amount of ice in the production tanks for many hours and, once the ice has melted, can no longer supply the needs of the processing facility, as the water heats up.
In addition to ensuring a continuous supply of chilled water at a constant temperature, our machine guarantees energy savings of up to 60% compared to traditional storage tanks thanks to its electricity consumption. We are able to supply machines with instantaneous power from 500,000 watts/h to 1,500,000 watts/h. Madefrigor has established itself as a leading player in this field and beyond.
